Meet Our Founder

Kim believes life is best lived in full color. From a small mountain ranch in the Rockies to the coastal escapes that fuel her creativity, she’s always had a love for textiles, design, and the art of creating beautiful spaces.

As the founder of Zappy Dots, Kim has spent years blending her passions—color, fabric, and a dash of serendipity—into products that inspire joy. Her journey has included quilting, stitching, and innovative product design, but at the heart of it all has always been community and creativity.

When HGTV Magazine reached out to feature a Zappy Dots pillow, it sparked the idea to reimagine the brand for today: porch-perfect pillows, cozy candles, and colorful accents for women who love dreaming, decorating, and savoring everyday moments.
